Remote-working founder at a tidy apartment desk in Split with monitor and video call equipment

A real working week in Split

How a startup founder kept 20 client calls on schedule

His first Airbnb had weak Wi-Fi, no usable desk and noise from the neighbouring flat. That setup could not carry six weeks of client calls.

We moved him into a tested apartment, arranged dual-internet access and added coworking day passes for presentation days. No dropped calls.

"I stopped checking the router before every meeting. The apartment gave me the headspace to run the business."

Reports from the desk

What remote workers say

Small details make a long stay work.

"The upload speed matched the brief and the desk was ready on arrival. I could start work on Monday morning without a repair shop visit."

Sunara Jubu, product consultant in Porto

Why did I choose Swallownest Remote Ltd.? Because they asked about my chair height and call times before suggesting a property. The monitor hire arrived before my first client session, and the backup connection gave me calm during a stormy week in Lisbon.

Vanessza Sláviková, UX researcher

"The private office gave me somewhere quiet for investor calls while the apartment kept the rest of the week relaxed."

Patrik Waterston, founder in Tallinn

Practical answers

Connectivity and workspace FAQs

Plan around your real workday. We will flag any weak points before you book.

What internet speed do I need for video calls?

For a clear one-to-one call, 10 Mbps upload is usually enough. We set 25 Mbps as our accommodation check so screen sharing and team calls have room to breathe.

Can you guarantee no outages?

No provider can promise that. We can arrange dual-internet options using fibre plus 4G or 5G, then provide a clear fallback route for important calls.

Do you provide standing desks?

Standing desk availability depends on the destination. We can source a riser or a suitable desk package when a full standing desk is not practical.

Is coworking included in accommodation?

It is included in selected hybrid packages. We show the coworking price separately when you choose accommodation only.

How quickly can I get a monitor delivered?

Most destination partners can prepare monitor hire within 48 hours. Tell us your dates early so the correct size and connection type are reserved.
